Medi-Line — Clinic 28
Privacy statement
Introduction
Medi-Line is the weight-loss programme of Clinic 28. This privacy statement explains which personal data we process through medi-line.nl, what we use it for and which rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Which data we process
To offer your account and your personal page, we process: your name, your email address and your client number; the weights you enter yourself; the measurements taken at the clinic (such as weight, body fat percentage, muscle mass, body water, bone mass, BMR, BMI and physique rating); and your conversations with our digital assistant Jolly. We also keep a secure sign-in session so you can reach your own data.
Health data
Weights and measurement results are health data. We only process these with your consent, because they are needed for your guidance during the Medi-Line programme. You can withdraw your consent at any time; please contact Clinic 28 to do so.
What we use the data for
We use your data only for: your personal page showing your progress; entering measurements from the clinic; answering your questions through Jolly; and confirming your registration and invitation by email. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not share it with others for commercial purposes.
How long we keep data
We keep your data as long as your account is active and you are in treatment at Clinic 28. After your account ends, we delete your data, unless we are legally required to keep it longer.
Sharing with others
We never sell or rent your data. Only the parties that run the website and email for us can access data as part of their work. We have made agreements with them to protect your data. Data in the app is only visible to you and to authorised staff of Clinic 28.
Security
The connection to the website is encrypted (https). Access to the data is protected with sign-in credentials and limited to what is necessary. If you have questions about security, please contact Clinic 28.
Your rights
You have the right to view, correct, delete, restrict or transfer your data, and the right to object. Send your request to Clinic 28. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
We may update this privacy statement, for example when the law or our practices change. The current version is always available on this page.
